The 1994 and 2011 Vancouver Riots

It happened again as a result of the same cause. The difference is that the Vancouver Canucks lost to Boston Bruins instead of the New York Rangers in the seventh game. The Canucks lost 4 to 0 by game's end. The police preparation and response was almost identical to that of 1994 despite lessons supposedly learned and recommendations made and not followed. The crowd's explosion into anger at the loss was virtually identical except for the location that was at W. Georgia and Hamilton streets instead of Robson and Thurlow streets. A horoscope was cast for game start and it was just about the most inauspicious horoscope that could be with Saturn on the mid heaven, Pluto and Ruhu on the Ascendant and Uranus at the Nadir forming a T-square aspect with one another. The moon was applying to full and eclipse mode and conjunct Pluto to form a loose grand square with all the planets and Sun. A horoscope was also cast for June 14, 1994 for game start time. There are similarities between the two, but major differences too.

For the June 15, 2011 horoscope of game start, Saturn the planet of austerity, restriction and punishment was on the mid heaven, which indicated that at game start, the Canucks were doomed on home turf. As the evening wore on this became increasing apparent and Mars was setting adding fuel to anger that has been pent up since the 1990s and exploded just before sun set. The riots continued well into the night and the wee hours of the morning while the eclipse of the moon approached. The riots of 1994 were rerun in 2011 almost verbatim with the two events being separated by 17 years and a day. Pluto, the planet of unconscious transformation added to the exploding chaos that ensued and that is what it was; mindless chaos as anger was vented causing millions in damage and a billion in extremely negative PR. Uranus, the planet of shock, sudden change and revolution was buried in the underworld.

The response of the primarily youthful fans in Vancouver was an explosion of pent up anger and for Boston, jubilant celebration. In Vancouver, millions of dollars in damage to cars that were overturned and burned, portable toilets overturned, spilling the contents into the streets, broken glass and looting created a billion in damaged PR for the tourist industry. Vancouver once gain got a hot edict. The repercussions were enormous and the potential for revolution was missed due to ignorance and lack of educating the youth. In both circumstances, the youth were the prime respondents. In 1994, there were very few Asians. In 2011, a large proportion of the crowd was Asian. The added ethnicity to the latter crowd was due to the policy of banks needing fresh customers for mortgage and school loans to the end of profiting by interest. As the home market has been tapped out and in many cases, gone into default as of Oct. 2008, the losses had to be offset with new loan payments from off-shore, where the economy is expanding in deference to the economies every where else. This then added “fresh faces” to the 2011 crowd that differed from the 1994.

While Vancouver rioted in response to a hockey game loss, All of Greece was in a general strike and a class war between police, the military and the working people facing ever more and deeper austerities (influence from Saturn again). The question once again rises, what to do with the sports as this is what can occur when a team loses in the final play for the prize. But this is nothing new. Due to the repeated phenomena of loss and riot, we can say with some confidence that the ball game of the Maya always ended with the losing team being torn apart in sacrifice. This has a lot to say about modern games insofar as these “bread and circus” events are designed for the purpose of getting youth to futilely vent their anger and for the state to acquire the excuse to ratchet up tyranny. Historically, this is also done through false flag operations such as the burning of the Reichstag in Germany in 1933 and what many say about 9-11 in New York in 2001. It almost goes without saying that there is the possibility that the games are rigged in order to produce the state desired effects of removing civil rights, to gather as much profit in game sales as possible and to get people to vent their pent up anger in useless ways. The hockey game series build up and loss did all three with extreme efficiency.
