Cosmic Lights

Earth Lights present themselves in a somewhat chaotic manner and are often associated with periods leading up to earthquakes or volcanic eruptions. Many were seen over Japan in the sky shortly before and after the major earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011. They have been seen around the world. But other light shows are also present and are neither the earth light chaotic dance, nor are they advanced military craft. These lights often present themselves in an organized way and appear to outline massive designs, which some people see as huge UFOs. They will often appear as highly regular triangle or L shaped arrangements, square or circular in arrangement. They move regularly, slowly and sometimes appear motionless as if hovering. Occasionally, some will appear to rotate as they move. Witnesses describe them as absolutely silent, void of engine type sounds and they apparently do not create wind as one would expect from engine exhaust. They last for well over an hour and are often seen by hundreds or thousands including credible witnesses such as police, airline pilots and the air force that often scrambles aircraft to “intercept” these appearances. It is reported that though visible to the naked eye, they are radar invisible. There have been thousands of separate sightings, many going well back into history. There are many ideas about what these manifestations are, but the hypothesis presented here is that they are some form of resonant or harmonic vibration set up in planetary atmospheres when the solar system aligns in particular exact patterns.

We have visited the idea of resonance before in many other applications and have found many curious phenomena that have a fractal relationship with one another. One of the most obvious is the experiment of sound transference from one tuning fork to another that is in resonant sympathy with it. We use variable resonant tuners to run radio and television. The all time champion of resonant theory and practice was Nikola Tesla who developed and entire technology around it, which we use today in a host of applications. We see resonance and dissonance in the arrangement of asteroid groups in the solar system. We see it in nature and lately, some of our inventions have been able to use resonant phenomenon to create curious effects such as the laser like beaming of sound and the triggering of lightning repeatedly in the same spot with the use of high powered lasers. The solar system has its own rhythm that is a balance of resonance and dissonance in a finely tuned and aperiodic cycle. When alignments of planets occur in a certain pattern, manifestations occur on the sun and what we can now say, curious occurrences within the earth's atmosphere. It is likely that when alignments are seen from any particular planetary vantage point, that light phenomenon also occur there. But for now, let's look at some very interesting historical occurrences where we have accurate data.

The first on our list are the three major Phoenix Arizona UFO light manifestations. All three had a common theme which is described by a host of witnesses as;

• Motionless of slow moving in a straight or slightly curved line

• Several regularly spaced amber coloured lights in a V, an L, a square or circular pattern

• No sound was heard at any time

• No rushing wind such as a backwash from props, jet or rocket engines

• The lights could be filmed and seen, but were invisible to radar

• They would appear slowly into view one by one and after some considerable time, vanish out of sight

• Estimate vary as to the size of the entire arrangement, but most agree that it was huge.

• They appeared before background mountains or over head giving some perspective on size

• They were almost always seen at night

• They are not associated with smoke or fumes

The three appearances were in the evenings of 13 March 1997, 6 Feb. 2006 and on 21 Apr., 2008. Of the three, the first was the most spectacular. A geocentric planetary position chart was erected for the exact time given for the first manifestation of 13 March, 1997 over Phoenix Arizona. Immediately we can see a very tight triangular relationship between Mars, the Moon and Neptune with an opposition of Mars and the Sun and Mercury. Close to Neptune is Uranus and Jupiter. Close to the conjunction of the Sun and Mercury is Venus and Saturn. Astrologers call this map an arrow form of horoscope and the point is Mars. This remarkably exact configuration emulates the V shaped formation of the lights. According to local mapping, the lights moved slowly from out of the north-north-west and travelled slowly to the south-south-east, veering ever so slightly eastward. It took more than an hour for the light show to complete. The remarkable self affinity between the light show and the planetary alignment from our point of view suggests that for this occurrence, that the electromagnetic influence of the planets caused a localized light show that mimicked the arrangement of the planets.

The second light show occurred on 6 February of 2006 and also had many witnesses, but was not as spectacular as the first show. It was dismissed by the air force as flares being dropped from a jet. There is little significant photography or video of this event and not much of a description beyond a few lights in a triangular display of an amber colour. The most significant planetary arrangement is an exact square of Jupiter to the Sun and Neptune. The waxing moon was in triangular aspect to the sun.

The third and final show occurred on 21 April 2008. On this occurrence, the lights appeared to change from triangular to square format and back again over time. This was dismissed as flares released attached to helium balloons, but three fighter jets were scrambled anyway. Many witnesses saw this display as well. In the sky mapping of the planets for the date, there are two triangular arrangements and a square arrangement between Jupiter, Venus close to the sun and Mars in opposition to Mars. Almost every solar system planet is involved in the aspects. There are other incidents detailed below.

On 7 August, 2011 another spectacular cosmic light show occurred in a place identified as Kingman Arizona near the Mojave desert with little further information. These lights were arranged in to parallel lines as they moves slowly through the sky.

These sightings are by no means restricted to the US and multiple witness occurrences have been evident in places like South America. Consider an event in Sao Paulo on July 23-24, 2011 where witnesses saw a circle of lights rotating around a central light. The planetary aspects for that incident produced an interesting aspect pattern in the heavens seen above. In this particular alignment, there are three separate oppositions spread around the heavens. There is also two trine relations coupled with squares and these link to the trines. The circular pattern of lights almost seems to emulate the pattern of the planets in the sky.

A crescent shaped luminescence moved slowly in the skies in Russia on the 23^rd of December, 2011 that had the appearance of the crescent moon, except for the fact that the moon was so close to being new, that it would not have shown the crescent seen. In addition the witness filmed the crescent light and it was in motion. There is an opposition of Jupiter, near the mid heaven, with Saturn and these are linked by trines to Sun and Pluto and Neptune respectively. This dramatic light was quite clearly a cosmic light display as it was soundless and alone. Some five separate videos were filmed of this event. The last one shows a point source in addition to the crescent. Interestingly, the planets were arranged in s crescent pattern with the exception of Mars.

A planetary alignment, that is that triangle and opposition of planets occurred on March 11^th, 2012 that is very similar in appearance to the alignment of the Phoenix 1997 event. In this case, two witnesses saw over 100 silver ball display over the Whitestone district of Queens, New York. This recent event coupled with the 1997 event shows a common similarity in the alignment position of planets that form a distinct arrowhead formation involving some of the same planets in both cases. What we can say is that in both cases, people read into the events, things that are not the real case. They see alien craft of other superimposed ideas. What is argued here is that we are not looking at alien visitors of secret military craft, but a natural manifestation that could well be electromagnetic in nature.

The final case in this series is recent and had to be waited for. It occurred on the 13^th of March, 2012 in Virginia Beach and was a large quadrangle shaped light that hovered behind some trees. This one was a predicted cosmic light based on the grand trine planetary arrangement of the 14^th of March, 2012 erected before the date in question. It is possible that there were sightings on the 14^th as well, but they have yet to come forward owing to the recentness of the day. A second sighting occurred near the Santiago air base and outran several jets that are seen in some of the frames. This one was neither an earth light nor a cosmic light, falling more in line with a secret military craft being tested.

Other mass sightings of large UFOs, armadas of UFOs or of Cosmic lights have been seen for decades all over the world with many being photographed and filmed. There are some that have earned a place in the history books, such as the event that triggered an anti aircraft strike in Los Angeles on Feb. 24^Th, 25^th, 1942. The fact that there was such an overwhelming response, vindicates the idea that there is something real about these events to warrant such a response. Pearl Harbour was attacked just a few months earlier and everyone was tense about a possible Japanese strike on mainland USA. The long lasting light show that appeared caused the air force to scramble its planes and engage heavy anti-air craft shelling commenced from the ground from late Feb. 24^th into the wee hours of the 25^th. After it all ended and the lights disappeared, no scrap of anything that was downed was ever located. This incident was behind the inspiration of the movie “1942” where LA was considered to be under attack and the panic that ensued. This single incident goes further than most others in its significance of real influence. This is a clear case of mistaken identity as well, where people superimpose ideas of what they think they are seeing on a naturally occurring event they don't fully understand. This should be the center piece of any UFO investigation as there is certainly enough information on the incident.

There is yet another revelation that comes from this “attack”. Seeing as how people and the military respond to an imagined threat and that the world is in a perpetual state of war, is it any wonder why we have not had an easily verifiable alien visitation? The incident of Feb. 24^th and 25^th of 1942 in Los Angeles served notice as to what happens when strange things happen in the sky. Visiting aliens would be wary of being shot down due to being mistaken for an enemy attack. Such is the demonstration in 1942 in Los Angeles, we are now also aware of what the potential is, even when the attacker is little more than a plasma light show.

A light show forming a V or L shaped formation was seen in Lubbock Texas on Aug. 25^Th, 1951 that had plenty of similarities to the Phoenix light show of 1997. This formation moved very quickly from horizon to horizon in a matter of seconds. It was followed by another similar formation. The lights continued night after night to the 30^th and the air force denied flying any planes at any of the sighting times. Not that this mattered, as the light show was completely silent and the planes in use in those days were not silent. Photographs of the lights were taken and a distinct V or L shaped pattern can be seen. They were described as being like a string of pearls glowing bluish green. Anyone who knows anything about upper atmosphere electromagnetic interactions can see the similarity to the colours often described in aurora, but these are not the typical auroral display.

On Saturday, July 19^th, 1952, a radar operator noticed several blips on the radar screen. There was no known air traffic in the area at the time. These objects were also later picked up at Barne's Airway Traffic Control and the strange traffic continued until 3 AM. Around the same time, people who were still out, saw the objects and a famous UFO photograph was taken of them flying past the Capital Building in Washington DC. These objects did not fly in formation. At one time, several radar stations were tracking them simultaneously. The show continued the following night with similar effects and then into the following weekend when an interceptor was sent up to investigate. According to the pilot, the UFOs then reversed course and converged around his plane. The pilot got very frightened by the close encounter and requested his command as to whether he should fire on them. There was a stunned silence as this was the height of the cold war and it was feared that this was a Soviet challenge. After a few minutes, the UFOs broke off and flew rapidly away. The prolonged show over a week had everyone in Washington in jitters. Once more, we can see the familiar arrowhead formation of the planets.

What is presented hear is a hypothesis of how some of these may be triggered by electromagnetic relationships between the planets relative to the earth point of view. A recent discovery by a Japanese meteorologist tells us that the earth is surrounded by an active electrostatic envelope. Just prior to an earthquake, the local electrostatic region will increase in potential exponentially. When the quake strikes, the potential will again drop and then quiver with diminishing swings. It is noted independently that earth lights occur around earthquake times. Earth lights could be formations of ball lightning, but cosmic lights are a different matter altogether. These are not associated with earthquake activity. Thus they present a mystery unless we look at the solar system electromagnetic profile. This, like the earth's also shifts over time and with the relationship of the planets, most of which have electromagnetic and electrostatic potentials. These are linked to the sun and it is now known that the sun is magnetically linked to the earth in and intimate manner. It is also known that there is a space “superhighway” that is exploited by NASA in tracking interplanetary probes.
